Lancashire, United Kingdom Nigel Wright Recruitment Full time

The Role:

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced FP&A Manager to join the dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to influence and drive process strategy across our UK and international finance operations.

In this pivotal role, you’ll:

  • Shape and contribute to the FP&A Process Strategy, defining Objectives, Risks, Controls, and Design Principles.
  • Gather requirements from Process Owners, crafting a robust future state process that incorporates process steps, risk and control measures, technology, reporting, data governance, and service delivery.
  • Communicate and refine this future state design, collaborating closely with Process Owners to address key business needs.
  • Facilitate the implementation of these designs by providing expert guidance, advising on major programmes, and resolving any process challenges that arise.
  • Identify process deficiencies and develop business cases for improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver essential materials and inputs for the Global Process Lead and Process Design Authority, offering clear recommendations and insights.

What You’ll Need:

Essential:

  • Proven expertise in optimising finance processes and understanding their impact on data, technology, service delivery, governance, and reporting.
  • Solid experience with FP&A processes such as Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and forecasting, with the capability to manage organisational change within finance.
  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making.
  • Experience within large, complex organisations with similar operational scale and scope.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with a focus on driving efficiency and process enhancement.

Benefits:

  • A competitive pension scheme and enhanced annual leave.
  • Company-contributed Share Incentive Plan and access to flexible working options.
  • Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle2work scheme, employee discounts, and eligibility for an annual incentive.

About the Team:

As part of our Plan To Report team, you’ll drive strategic improvements across our finance functions globally. Your expertise will help us optimise processes, including IBP planning and reporting, and deliver best practices across various business areas.

This role involves engaging with stakeholders across finance and non-finance functions, designing future state processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring compliance.

Why Work Here?

You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in an inclusive environment that values diversity, integrity, and empowerment. We’re committed to equal opportunity and actively welcome applications from women, ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
