Role description

Dr David Jack Clinic requires a dedicated and dynamic Master Aesthetician to join our team in our new clinic in London. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic treatments, delivering exceptional customer care, and ensuring the very highest quality of treatments and experience for our patients. Please note, this is not an injector role.


Please note this is a full time role (40 hours per week) and the successful candidate is required to work within the core hours of 8am - 8pm and every second Saturday.


The following experience/skills are fundamental to the Master Aesthetician role:

  • Minimum qualification NVQ level 4 or 5 Laser Skin Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aesthetic clinic setting / spa industry.
  • Industry knowledge and a solid understanding of clinical procedures and standards in relation to health and safety and medical standard compliance e.g. CQC.
  • Have a passion for supporting a safe and compliant clinic and create a culture where best practice is carried out at all times.
  • Outstanding customer service experience within a luxury setting and experience in performing high-end treatments, experience working with high-profile/A-List clientelle.
  • Passion for, and knowledge of, the aesthetics industry and skincare.
  • Excellent conversion & sales skills Highly motivated individual with attention to detail and excellent time-management skills to ensure clients are seen on time, and the ability to prioritise tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to analyse and develop opportunities for improvement in day to day processes and implement innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to support marketing, accounts, PR and e-commerce teams where necessary.
  • Experience in managing challenging situations with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • A desire to be part of a growing business Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and previous use of CRM booking systems


Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed, well-informed skin consultations, including potential risks, side effects and contraindication advice of treatments, as well as post-treatment follow-up and aftercare advice.
  • Providing tailoring detailed treatment and skincare recommendations for clients, referrals to and collaboration with your fellow practitioners to ensure a holistic and comprehensive journey for all patients.
  • Managing patients' skin care journeys, collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless service delivery including follow-ups with clients and supporting Front of House team with treatment related queries
  • Providing the highest quality delivery of treatments, ensuring consistently and excellent level of service is provided for all patients.
  • Offering a warm welcome to all patients, ensuring a seamless journey throughout their clinic experience, where confidentiality and respect is maintained at all times.
  • Creating and maintaining clinical records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date whilst ensuring all clinic procedures and data protection requirements are followed in relation to client records prior to, during and after appointments.
  • Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring the treatment rooms and reception areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are well-stocked and maintain professional stock levels at all times and inform Clinic Manager of low stock to maintain professional and efficient stock levels
  • Comply with our sustainability goals, aligned with our pending B-corporation registration, through maintenance of our energy saving and waste reduction policies, as well as upholding our sustainability and charitable policies at all times.
  • Driving the sales of products and services to maximise sales and performance stats for the clinic as well as encouraging referrals to fellow practitioners.
  • Liaison with our marketing team around promotion and press opportunities.
  • Staying up to date with developments in the industry, participation in training programmes for continual professional development and knowledge enhancement within the company. This may require occasional travel to other Dr. David Jack clinics from time to time.
