We are looking to recruit a Land Manager to work as part of our Land Team in the North West region reporting to the Senior Land Manager.
As a Land Manager you will be responsible for the identification and negotiation of land and development opportunities both short and medium term in line with budget and forecast requirements. Your duties will include liaising with land owners, agents and Housing Associations including the affordable housing contracts. You will communicate with internal and external parties towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion.
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience of land acquisition, gained in a house building environment. Your key skills will include negotiation, communication, numeracy, report writing, data analysis, IT proficiency (inc MS Excel), project management and presentation skills. Ideally you will have a degree in a planning/property related discipline or will be qualified by relevant experience.
A good standard of written English is essential with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The role involves travel which requires a full driving licence.
