Job Summary:


M365 Product Owner is responsible for overseeing and managing the Microsoft 365 (M365) product portfolio within a greenfield setup, with a focus on Agile DevSecOps and SRE principles. This role involves defining the product strategy, prioritizing feature development, and driving the roadmap to enhance collaboration, productivity, and security capabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for the M365 product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and align with strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prioritize feature development based on business value, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality product releases.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly product experiences.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product direction, and drive customer-centric enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product management staff, fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest M365 features, releases, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate product updates, enhancements, and roadmap.


Requirements:


  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on Microsoft 365 products, within a greenfield setup, preferably in an Agile DevSecOps and SRE environment.
  • Strong understanding of collaboration, productivity, and security principles within the M365 ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Proven experience in defining product strategies and driving product roadmaps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong market and customer orientation, with a focus on delivering value and meeting customer needs.
  • Experience with product management tools and methodologies.
  • Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Product Fundamentals or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly preferred.
