Job Title: Interim Head of IT Services

Duration: 9 Months Fixed Term

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Benefits

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Head of IT to work for an organisation in Liverpool. The role requires an experienced IT leader who can hit the ground running and pick up the day to day management of an IT team of 15. The role will see you acting as the face of IT at a senior level reporting to board level. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected institution who are investing in their IT estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day to day IT operations, including service management.
  • Delivering high quality, user focused IT systems and services to the organisations's user base.
  • Managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Representing IT in meetings at a senior level.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience in an IT leadership role.
  • Experience of managing day to day operations, including service management.
  • Experience of managing IT teams of between 10 - 20 people.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party vendors, ensuring high levels of service provision.
  • Experience of planning and leading IT projects, coordinating project resource and project delivery.

The role will require some travel to sites in Liverpool so you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
