Our client, a developer of bespoke electric vehicle drivetrain systems, leveraging cutting-edge, proprietary technology to deliver world-class solutions, is currently looking to hire an Electrical Build Technician. The successful candidate will build electrical harnesses and components for bespoke vehicles and “kit” builds.


The Electrical Build Technician will:

  • Assemble and build 12V wiring looms and harnesses with high precision.
  • Construct high-voltage (HV) looms to meet project specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform quality inspections on both in-house and bought-in looms to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Document all build processes and maintain accurate records for future reference.
  • Assemble various electrical components as required for production or development projects.



The Electrical Build Technician will have:

  • Proven experience in wiring harness and loom assembly.
  • Hands-on experience in wiring ancillary items such as fuse boxes, controllers, and similar components.
  • Strong ability to specify loom lengths, routing, and retention methods for optimal performance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and pinout tables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.
