In-House Solicitor

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the successful candidate will have prior experience of working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and will have the ability to identify and resolve legal issues and balance both legal and business concerns.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, NDA’s and IP agreements.
• Liaising with external counsel as required.
• Providing training on relevant and topical legal matters to various teams/departments across the business.
• Provide advice and guidance on contractual rights and obligations and interpretation of legal terms and conditions.
• Assist with other ad hoc legal requirements as required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

As a people orientated organisation, candidates must demonstrate a strong match for our vibrant entrepreneurial culture and our core values: Listen, Empower, Accomplish and Innovate, as well as having the following skills and experience:

• Current NI or England & Wales practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience, ideally with a mix of private practice and inhouse.
• Demonstrable business, corporate and commercial experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to work within tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
