Overview:

MacTaggart Scott are looking to recruit a Commissioning Co-Ordinator



Role:

This role reports directly into the Commissioning Manager. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Commissioning Department, liaising and communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, providing planning updates inputs reporting and liaison with the commercial department for control of bidding and funded activities.



Duties will include:


  • Assisting the Commissioning Manager with the planning and preparation for execution of commissioning tasks
  • Liaising with various departments and inputting to schedules, bids, job preparation and parts
  • Liaising with customers to provide appropriate levels of in-service support
  • Supervising low value, low risk projects, investigating cost anomalies and resolving schedule conflicts
  • Inputting and managing data using the company ERP system
  • Assisting with departmental reports, documents and capacity planning
  • Collating and managing risks identified within the departmental tasks
  • Other relevant tasks as required by the service and test teams

Essential skills, experience and knowledge requirements:


The successful candidate must;

  • Qualification in a related discipline and / or will have prior experience of working in a technical environment.
  • Have the ability to work efficiently and to prioritise a diverse range of tasks.
  • Will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop sustainable relationships across the business.
  • Have knowledge and experience of MS Office applications
  • Be prepared to learn new skills and will be interested in self-development within the role.
