Presales Engineer

A Sheffield based company who specialises in Fibre sensing and power supplies are on the lookout for an Electrical Project Lead to help on a contract basis.

Logistics:

IR35 Status: Outside

Rate: Flexible

Onsite requirements: Sheffield (or London) based, remote working with onsite visits (1-3 per week, depending on the project)

Contract Length: Initial 3 month with extensions

The Company

A small design consultancy who develop a suite of fibre monitoring and deployment technologies for various industries. Most recently, they have been working within the water, oil & gas, building, telecommunications and power industries.

Presales Design Engineer

Due to the client being a small team of specialised professionals, they are keen to have a contractor who is able to hit the ground running. Therefore having previous presales based experience is essential.

Skills overview:

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience within similar industry
• Able to perform technical calculations
• CAD Software - AutoCAD or Inkscape
• Understanding of basic financial concepts
• Understanding of Electrical, Sales, Presales, Optical Fibre or Telecommunications
• Able to work in a multidisciplined team
