The Electrical Site Manager will assist the M&E manager with the management of the design & install of the electrical package on site.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and oversee electrical specialist packages from sub-contractor selection to install onsite
  • Coordinate with contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to M&E manager
  • Supervise project team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Be up to date with current IEE regulations and the current edition of BS7671 wiring regulations and hold an up-to-date associated qualification,
  • Have a forward-thinking and proactive attitude,
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook on a Windows PC,
  • Have good communication, professional people-management skills and show this in a commercial environment.


Essential criteria

  • Right to work in the UK
  • City & Guilds / HNC in either Electrical or equivalent

AND

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

OR

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role


AND

  • Knowledge of the UK market and field of healthcare.
  • Experience of commissioning, soft landings and the migration of existing staff into a new facility.
  • Willingness to learn, to be creative and to work on own initiative
  • Dependable and possess a positive attitude to work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Well-developed skills in prioritising and organising.
  • Vision and tenacity to identify possibilities for improvements, future investments, and opportunities to streamline production for efficiency and to enhance quality and reduce turnaround times.
