Our client are seeking a talented and experienced DV Cleared VMware Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a VMware Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise in VMware virtualization technologies to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues related to VMware environments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrades, and performance tuning, to optimize VMware environments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical procedures and best practices, to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in virtualization to recommend and implement innovative solutions.


Requirements:

  • Active DV clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in supporting VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients at all levels.
  • VMware certifications (e.g., VCP) are highly desirable.
