Christchurch, United Kingdom Precision Fuel & Hydration Full time

At Precision Fuel & Hydration we help athletes’ nail their fueling and hydration using a suite of cutting-edge tools, awesome educational content and a unique range of sports nutrition products.

We work with a long list of pro teams in the Premier League, NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, Formula One, the UCI Cycling Tour and beyond, as well as elite and amateur athletes in sports like triathlon, cycling, running and tennis.

We're not just a “sports nutrition business”, we're also a high-end sports consultancy and an innovative e-commerce startup, with a heavy focus on technology and research. We're a global business, with sales in 90+ countries, but we’re still a small team (35+ and counting) who love what we do and the space we’re in.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator to join our Marketing team. If you have a passion for storytelling, an eye for detail, and the ability to create engaging material, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality content that resonates with our athletes striving to perform at their best. You’ll run our brand new Media Studio, ensuring we maximise our output of educational content. You’ll report directly to our Lead Content Creator, who has decades of experience educating, entertaining and inspiring viewers. You’ll also collaborate closely with the wider Marketing team whose channels your content will be shared through, and our Sports Science Team who’ll help ensure your work is backed by the latest science.

We’re lucky to work with a long list of exciting teams, athletes and partners including Global Cycling Network, IRONMAN, Global Triathlon Network, UCI ProTour Team Lotto Dstny, UCI WorldTour Team dsm-firmenich PostNL and Leadville Race Series.

You’d also get the chance to work directly with some big name athletes like Victor Campenaerts, Ellie Salthouse, Hayden Hawks, Dan Jones, Jason West, Leon Chevalier and Fenella Langridge to name but a few.

You'll have real responsibility from day one and make a tangible difference every day. And you’ll get to learn from an experienced team of entrepreneurs. Our CEO Andy Blow is a recognised thought-leader in sports science, has set up a number of successful businesses and was an elite triathlete “back in the day”.

Dave, our Marketing Director, has worked for e-commerce businesses his whole career, from Europe's fastest growing dating site and a UK Top 20 app for sharing recommendations with friends, to the world's first smartphone-only bank and a leading SEO tool.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end production of high-quality multimedia content such as videos, photography and graphics, often to tight deadlines
  • Editing video and photos captured by the Lead Content Creator, or other team members and freelancers, into finished assets
  • Running our brand new on-site Media Studio to maximise the output of regular educational content
  • Regular travel to exciting locations and sports events to capture content
  • Monitoring and analyzing content performance, using insights to improve future content
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and incorporating best practices into content creation
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and execute content strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, or similar role with a strong portfolio of published content
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling
  • Proven experience with videography and photography equipment management (camera operation, lighting, sound etc)
  • Proven experience with video editing software (we use Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Social media savvy and a solid understanding of content production for YouTube, Instagram and other social platforms and formats is also key
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in design software (we use Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong soft skills, online and in-person, are a must as you’ll be project managing and directing shoots with athletes
  • Sports industry experience would be desirable
  • We're looking for a self-starter who’ll learn fast and bring bags of energy to the table
  • Being a keen athlete would also be helpful (as you’ll already understand our audience) but not strictly mandatory. We'll be flexible so you'll have time to train and compete around your workload

Compensation

  • Salary: £TBD depending on experience
  • Exciting travel opportunities and ‘money can’t buy’ sporting experiences
  • All the electrolyte drinks, fuel and team merch you’ll ever need
