Position Overview:

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead for SAP Projects is responsible for managing and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of SAP systems. The OCM Lead will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Change Management Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive OCM strategies and plans tailored to SAP projects.

- Conduct change impact assessments and readiness evaluations to understand the scope and scale of change.

2. Stakeholder Management:

- Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring their support and involvement throughout the project lifecycle.

- Facilitate stakeholder analysis and management plans to address concerns and promote buy-in.

3. Communication and Engagement:

- Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

- Create and deliver targeted messages through various channels (e.g., emails, newsletters, town halls).

4. Training and Development:

- Design and implement training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed for successful adoption of SAP systems.

- Collaborate with training teams to develop training materials and schedules.

5. Change Agent Network:

- Establish and lead a network of change agents to support the change effort across the organization.

- Provide guidance and support to change agents to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.

6. Resistance Management:

- Identify potential resistance and develop strategies to address and mitigate it.

- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.

7. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

- Define and measure success metrics to track the effectiveness of change management initiatives.

- Prepare and present regular progress reports to project sponsors and leadership.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Collect feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve change management strategies and methodologies.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into OCM approaches.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, with a focus on SAP or other ERP implementations.

- Proven track record of managing change in large-scale projects.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in project management software and SAP systems.

- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
