What’s the position?

We are seeking a talented Data Analytics Engineer to join our growing data team. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You'll work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to design and implement data models, create efficient ETL processes, and develop insightful dashboards and reports. This role requires a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and a passion for turning data into valuable information.


What are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in data modeling and data warehouse design
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Skill in developing ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Ability to optimize complex queries for performance
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS and Snowflake
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and query optimization
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and creating dashboards
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling techniques
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in business
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and data-driven decision making
  • Experience in the gaming or sports betting industry
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Snowflake SnowPro)
