Key Responsibilities:

  • Log attendance in registers and payments in relevant spreadsheets.
  • Use our online booking systems to print guest lists and admit guests.
  • Maintaining reception and front of house standards
  • Handle all incoming calls
  • Meeting, greeting & announcing all visitors to the building
  • Tidy and prep studios and rooms for users
  • Managing all incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Ensure meeting rooms/kitchens/break out area are always clean & tidy
  • Order supplies for the building
  • Provide support services for those visiting or working within the building

Room Hire

  • Check diary for schedule of meetings.
  • Welcome Hirers and assist with their setup and other requirements where able.
  • Liaise with the MD in the preparation of rooms that are hired out to hirers.
  • Provide fire safety briefings / training to room hirers, as required.


House maintenance

  • Water house plants and the gardens as needed.
  • Report any deficiencies or concerns regarding general house maintenance and security to the MD so that appropriate action can be taken.
  • Ensure that all emergency exits from the house are kept clear of furniture, storage or rubbish, and that all exits are maintained in good order at all times.
  • Carry out regular Health and Safety checks as agreed with your manager.
  • Performing general housekeeping throughout the office during the day ensuring that everywhere is neat and clean with crockery being restocked as appropriate


Requirements

  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to cope well under pressure.
  • Well-presented at all times. Staff are required to wear specific attire as agreed upon with the Managing Director. (This typically includes a branded t-shirt or fleece)
  • Organised and efficient
  • IT Literate in MS Office Suite (word and excel).


Experience:

  • Receptionist/Front of House: 1 year (preferred)
