Role and Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

As the Sales Manager, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and executing a growth strategy that supports both core markets and new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Group Directors, you’ll focus on:


  • Identify market gaps, design innovative responses, and drive market penetration with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships, delivering exceptional service and competitive advantage to both existing and new customers.
  • Lead Sales & Marketing activities, set ambitious targets, and guide a cross-functional team to achieve growth in all market sectors.
  • Use data and market analysis to develop a robust sales and marketing strategy that benchmarks performance and outpaces competitors.
  • Establish strategies to introduce new products and services, aligned with evolving customer needs.


Requirements of the Sales Manager:

  • Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development within steel fabrication or precision manufacturing.
  • Skilled in market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer-centric strategy development.
  • A proactive relationship manager who understands the nuances of building trust with clients.
  • Strong planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage targets and maximise team potential.
