We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Solution Architect to join our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cloud data migrations with a strong focus on ECS and ObjectScale/Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) Services.
- Utilize Centera tools like JCASScript and CenteraExerciser to create clip lists and inspect errors.
- Execute ECS Sync for migrations from Centera to ECS.
- Implement ECS Native Transformation LPI, managing up to 1.5 million clips per day for objects under 250KB.
- Install and configure 8 ECS Sync Servers for data migration.
- Create detailed configuration guides documenting Centera details including IP addresses, pools, profiles, and capacities.
- Monitor and compare clip lists, addressing any discrepancies and restoring missing clips.
- Configure and monitor migrations on ECS Sync Servers, investigating and resolving errors.
- Validate copies by comparing clip lists from ECS against Centera.
- Perform incremental data copies and support application cutovers during off-business hours or weekends.
- Compile comprehensive migration reports for sign-off.
Deliverables:
- Migration reports for production migration.
Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in Cloud Data Migrations.
- Proficiency with ECS and ObjectScale/Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) Services.
- Strong skills in Centera and ECS, particularly in ECS Sync and Native Transformation.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with ECS Sync and ECS Native Transformation.
Requirements:
- Ability to work during off-business hours, including evenings (10pm – 6am UK time) and weekends.
- Availability for a 120-day project duration.
- Overtime required (weekend work/evening shifts).
