Are you a licensed Architect ready to immerse yourself in the world of innovative and sustainable design? An award-winning design studio, celebrated for its excellence in destination and hospitality architecture, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join their vibrant team in London.
Role Overview: As an Architect, you will support the design and development of small to mid-size projects, from concept to completion. Working closely under the direction of senior project leaders, you will assist in producing presentation drawings, sketches, and construction documents, while solving design complexities and contributing to a collaborative project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and review drawings to ensure the design intent is incorporated.
- Assist in all phases of the project, from initial design concepts to final construction documents.
- Produce 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and renderings.
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports and presentations.
- Interact with clients and consultants, presenting ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Prepare and manage architectural documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems, following established guidelines.
- Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects, promoting green practices.
- Mentor and direct the work of interns, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain commitment to client service, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a professional license.
- Environmental accreditation is desired.
- 1 to 4+ years of experience in design-related projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling software such as Rhino and SketchUp.
- Strong sketching skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities and maintain attention to detail.
