At Sportradar we’ve experienced a wonderful period of sustained hypergrowth through a highly focused strategy based on industry-leading data and product innovation. To continue this trajectory, we are searching for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and help take our Odds services to the next level.

  • Understand our customers, products, services and technologies. Collaborate with product managers, developers and users to gather insights.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage documentation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing documentation for clarity and usability. Implement feedback to continuously refine content.
  • Edit and clarify draft documents from team members, ensuring coherence and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Promote a consistent tone of voice and coach non-writers on improving their writing skills.
  • Advocate for the developer persona, shaping products and documentation to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and System Administration teams to translate technical information into clear documentation.
  • Use GitLab, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery. Explore new tools to enhance documentation efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Some years of professional demonstrable experience in technical writing
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Experience in technical writing, product documentation and content publishing
  • Ability to read and understand programming languages like Java and .Net
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
  • Willingness to innovate on documentation tools, like introducing AI workflows
  • Curiosity and awareness of the latest technologies
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to explain ideas and the thinking behind designs
  • Experience using developer tools to create documentation

Additional Information
