Our client is a leading UK law firm which is genuinely something a bit different. It has an exceptional client base, including those in media and entertainment sector, for which it undertakes a full range of services, and prides itself on its collaborative culture.


We have an exceptional opportunity for a junior lawyer who is keen to take their career into the risk & compliance arena. The role will involve working with the Head of the department, and three other professionals, to deliver a robust and comprehensive service to the firm. The role will include assisting with financial crime issues, including AML and sanctions, conflicts, insurance renewals, SRA regulation and best practice, ethics and risk management.


Our client is ideally looking for a junior lawyer, ideally newly qualified up to c.5 PQE, although this is only a guide, who is ready to take on a range of matters. You must be confident, able to communicate with senior stakeholders, ready to learn and have good attention to detail. Any experience in risk, insurance or regulatory issues is advantageous but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.


This is an outstanding role for someone who is looking to take their first step into risk and compliance or a junior risk lawyer who is seeking a new challenge.
