We are looking for an experienced and skilled Sales Executive from the fashion or licenced apparel industry to join our high performing and agile team, delivering the highest standards to our retail customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving their own categories and managing orders from concept to order receipt, ideally exceeding budgeted sales and margin targets.


As a Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Account Manager to develop and grow major high street retail accounts, acting as main point of contact for NJ orders for internal licenses, third party licensees and customer DTR.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to develop annual program of product launches (license & generic)
  • Manage product, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims to meet or exceed agreed sales targets.
  • Take ownership of relevant product categories and work collaboratively with Retail Buyers to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities, balancing creative innovation and cost factors, always considering target customer.
  • Manage licensing approvals in conjunction with the Licensing and Design Team
  • Regularly collate and deliver compelling presentations for internal and external use, including pitch decks and sales summaries.
  • Deliver a compelling sales message, demonstrating confidence in communicating at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Identify emerging trends in the retail landscape through extensive research, trend analysis and competitor shopping, translating these into potential opportunities for our customers.
  • Regular International travel may be required to customer locations and could require occasional overnight trips.


Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 2 years sales experience in a retail customer facing role, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Experience of selling Licensed product and knowledge of the High Street retail landscape is essential.
  • Must demonstrate proven success in managing a large retail account - apparel, homeware and lifestyle background would be an advantage.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Experience of managing your own sales budget
  • Confident in working closely with designers, collating, and managing design briefs and samples.
  • Intermediate level ability – Microsoft packages
  • Driving license essential
