*Shift patterns:*

● Full time 5 days a week working approx. 8-9 hour days. Approx. 12pm-9pm.

● Part time 2-3 days a week working approx. 8-9 hour days. Approx. 12pm-9pm.

*What is the job role?*

● Jenkinsons have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Venue Chef to join our team.

● The starting salary for this position is £33,750. Working 5 days a week, approximately 8-9 hour days (12pm-9pm)

*Key responsibilities include:*

● Ensuring that standards of food and service are consistently excellent

● Organise the planning, preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the standards required by the company and the client.

● Lead, mentor and manage the kitchen team.

● Assist the training and development of the kitchen team.

● Maintain statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.

● Working to instil a positive and collaborative relationship between kitchen and front of house teams

● Control site Cleanliness in areas that Jenkinsons Caterers are responsible for

● Maintain Standards and Quality

*About the role:*

● As the Venue Chef, your role involves presenting our menu at an exclusive wedding venue, preparing top-notch cuisine for guests, and overseeing the seamless functioning of the wedding venue kitchen. In charge of the daily operations and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.

● The Jenkinsons support team works to enhance and sustain the overall efficiency and productivity of the company, enabling Venue Chefs to focus on their culinary expertise. As a result, unlike our competitors Chefs have:

● No food ordering responsibilities

● No stock taking responsibilities

● Our Company is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.

*Who are you?*

We would particularly welcome applications from Chefs who have 5 years minimum experience in a senior role running your own kitchen. Passionate about client service through producing high quality food and ability to lead from the front. Food’s provenance is critical to you and the closer to your kitchen, the better you understand that being a great chef is not just about cooking but the ability to work with a team, and build relationships. Due to the beautiful location of the property, it can be difficult to reach by public transport, therefore access to your own transport is advisable
