Responsibilities:

  • Analyse large, complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify trends/patterns.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimise processes.
  • IOT experience.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to integrate data-driven solutions into our products/services.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualisations.
  • Interpret field and laboratory sensor data for detection and prediction.
  • Create predictive models from scratch to reinforcing the learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bsc, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or Data Engineering, preferably in a start-up environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, neural networks).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
