TRIA are excited to be representing a privately owned organisation in the logistics sector, seeking an exceptional IT Director to join their executive team. This is a unique opportunity to support a hugely successful business in driving innovation across their core technology function.
The Role
As IT Director, you will oversee a dynamic in-house IT department, driving strategic direction and operational excellence across network infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity. You'll report directly to the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust IT vision and roadmap
- Lead digital transformation initiatives
- Manage IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies
- Engage with stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
- Oversee IT governance, compliance, and risk management
- Lead and develop a talented IT team
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a seasoned IT leader with:
- Proven experience as an IT Director, Head of IT, or Senior IT Manager
- Strong track record in managing 24/7 service support
- Expertise in project management and IT systems delivery
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, databases, and software development
- Experience in managing external contractors and controlling IT costs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
