TRIA are excited to be representing a privately owned organisation in the logistics sector, seeking an exceptional IT Director to join their executive team. This is a unique opportunity to support a hugely successful business in driving innovation across their core technology function.

The Role

As IT Director, you will oversee a dynamic in-house IT department, driving strategic direction and operational excellence across network infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity. You'll report directly to the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a robust IT vision and roadmap
  2. Lead digital transformation initiatives
  3. Manage IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  4. Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies
  5. Engage with stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
  6. Oversee IT governance, compliance, and risk management
  7. Lead and develop a talented IT team

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a seasoned IT leader with:

  1. Proven experience as an IT Director, Head of IT, or Senior IT Manager
  2. Strong track record in managing 24/7 service support
  3. Expertise in project management and IT systems delivery
  4. Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, databases, and software development
  5. Experience in managing external contractors and controlling IT costs
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills
