Are you a skilled PHP Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful projects in the not-for-profit sector? We are currently recruiting for a PHP Developer to join an innovative charity based in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to develop and maintain software solutions that make a real difference, while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Design and implement RestAPI services to support integrations with various platforms.
  • Manage API integration aspects of Salesforce with websites and portals.
  • Work with SQL databases to manage and manipulate data effectively.
  • Develop additional systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Use Git for version control, ensuring robust code management and collaboration.
  • Ensure applications are responsive, user-friendly, and built to high coding standards using HTML and CSS.
  • Implementation and maintenance of company digital infrastructure including cloud server, multiple e-commerce websites, management of client websites & systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise development processes.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with the Laravel framework.
  • Solid understanding of RestAPI design and implementation.
  • Experience with SQL for database management.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
  • Comfort working with Linux operating systems and cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
