As Cruise Business Development Manager you will ensure the profitability of the cruise department by driving business development and overseeing daily operations and sales. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our cruise operations team, supporting them with departmental processes and procedures, and conducting regular one-on-one meetings and development plans.


You must have 3 years of travel management experience, preferably in cruise to be considered for this role.


The role:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the cruise operations team
  • Support the cruise team with training and self-development
  • Resolve escalated queries or issues in relation to cruise operations
  • Create new business opportunities with new cruise line partners
  • Be accountable for the successful increase in cruise growth across the department
  • Grow current relationships and increase sales with current cruise line partners
  • Attend Cruise Trade Exhibitions globally as and when required


You will have:

  • 3 years of travel management experience
  • Cruise industry knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience managing and developing sales and operational professionals
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills
  • Flexibility to travel to various industry events and conferences
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
