Job Description

As an EV Sales Consultant focused on market expansion, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) across various sectors including destination, fleet, workplace, and commercial markets. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new opportunities, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and facilitate the successful integration of EV solutions into these markets. This role requires a deep understanding of EV technology, market dynamics, and excellent sales and negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential opportunities for EV adoption in destination, fleet, workplace, and commercial sectors.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop targeted sales strategies.


Business Development:

  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, including government agencies, corporate clients, fleet operators, and property developers.
  • Develop customized sales pitches and proposals tailored to the specific requirements and objectives of each market segment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to tailor EV solutions to meet customer needs.


Sales and Consultation:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on the benefits, ROI, and implementation of EV solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of EV offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure deals and maximize revenue.


Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through to contract signing and implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.


Market Expansion Strategies:

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to accelerate EV adoption in new markets.
  • Identify potential partnerships and collaborations to enhance market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments, incentives, and funding opportunities that could impact EV deployment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the automotive or clean energy sector.
  • Deep understanding of electric vehicle technology, charging infrastructure, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
