Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for Drama, tailored to meet the needs of different ability levels
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular projects and initiatives
- Organize and supervise extracurricular Drama activities, such as school plays and performances
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment, promoting creativity and self-expression
- Communicate regularly with parents and produce comprehensive reports on students' academic and personal development
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Drama or related field
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Drama curriculum and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- A genuine passion for Drama and a commitment to nurturing students' creativity and self-confidence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
