We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilise new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing market Production team play a key role in ensuring our raw materials are processed and packaged correctly and efficiently to create our finished products for distribution.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager based at our Rawcliffe Bridge site, near Goole, East Yorkshire. In this role, you will have responsibility for all manufacturing activities on an upper tier COMAH site which includes four separate plant areas and the site warehouse team. The role will require you to act as the leader and conscience for these areas, setting standards and ensuring the teams deliver across a wide variety of areas, including SHE, Quality and operational efficiency. You will own continuous improvement within the manufacturing team and work closely with other site departments, on both short and long term initiatives

Essentials:

  • You will be an experienced people manager who is able to build effective working relationships and influence other departments
  • You will be able to initiate and lead change and drive for results
  • You will be able to prioritise resources and work with a wide variety of information to make decisions
  • Experience working on a COMAH site within a regulated, chemical manufacturing environment
  • You will be educated to degree level in a relevant technical discipline or hold recognised industry vocational qualifications

Desirables:

  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
  • Experience of continuous improvement techniques
  • Some experience of SAP ERP
