Job Description

We have an exciting role for a Quality Manager who will join our client’s team, a developer of electric vehicles whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars. The successful candidate will provide quality leadership for the entire enterprise, with end-to-end responsibility for the entire life cycle of all products.


The Quality Manager will:

  • NDT mentoring and support - Magnetic particle, Penetrant & Ultrasonic testing.
  • implement, and maintain an ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • the Inspection of finished and in process composite components, using a 7-axis laser scanner.
  • the technical management of issues found throughout the life cycle of the product and engage with engineering to drive issue resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • implement, and continually improve the necessary processes and procedures that may be required to perform the quality function.


The Quality Manager will have:

  • in Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years working in Quality Assurance roles with increasing responsibility.
  • knowledge of, and experience in, the implementation and maintenance of an ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • level of technical understanding, including the interpretation of technical drawings and composite lay-up manuals.
  • knowledge of quality tools such as 8D problem solving, FMEA, APQP etc. and their practical use in a high technology engineering environment.
  • interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate calmly and effectively at all levels.
