Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support for all IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server, Windows OS 10/11, Office 365, VMWare, and Networking.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Manage and monitor network performance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security measures to maintain system integrity.
  • Document and track all support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users to enhance their technical skills and understanding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Support Desk Engineer or similar role.
  • Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is required.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows OS 10/11.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration and support.
  • Experience with VMWare for virtualization and management of virtual environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
