Business Analyst required to be the lead BA to support the carve out of a bespoke ERP system from a well-established organisation into a newly acquired business.
This is an exciting time to join this organisation, there is a new technology team being built to support the purchase, and significant investment to grow the organisation across the UK and into Europe.
You will be the lead Business Analyst on this piece of work. As a business analyst you will have operated end to end and be capable of establishing new processes for the organisation.
The work on this project will focus on gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, ensuring that the new systems, including HR, CRM, and other platforms, align with the organisation's strategic goals.
As the business analyst you will have worked on a couple of technology based projects, so being experienced in working with technical and non technical stakeholders, including the CIO, operational management, field based staff and Vendors.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technology based projects with some data integration, and system implementation work.
The company is building with the Microsoft stack, including Azure and Dynamics 365 along with Synapse, Databricks etc.
As the lead business analyst you will gather, analyse, and document business requirements for the ERP carve-out and associated systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Whilst working with stakeholders, facilitating workshops to understand and translate their needs into detailed functional specifications, you will build strong relationships with the stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment and success.
You will assist in developing test strategies, conduct gap analysis between the current and future states, collaborate with technical teams to design data mapping, quality, and integration strategies that meet business needs.
This role does have the opportunity to progress or add growth in the role into a product or system owner type role once the ERP and residual projects are implemented, if this is of interest.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have as much of the following as possible:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on technology projects.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, quality assurance, and integration processes.
- Experience with the Microsoft stack.
- Background in business that have staff in the field or physical assets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder skills
