The Role:

Our client is a corporately owned Hospital is looking for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

The working pattern for this position is 7 on, 14 off, with shifts starting at 7:30pm and to finish at 8:30am.

You will be joining the current supportive team of 5 vets, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses, 3 veterinary care assistants, 5 receptionists, 1 client account manager and 1 practice manager. The team hold a variety of individual interests within the team including orthopaedics, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging with vets who have completed their certificates and who are working towards it.

The hospital are already well-equipped including digital X-ray, flexible and rigid endoscopes and easy access to a 16 slice CT scanner and an advanced MRI scanner, a fully equipped endoscopy suite and have have invested in Colibri II Synthes power drill to help with orthopaedic surgeries, multiparameter monitors, nerve locator machine, syringe drivers, drip pumps and a new therapeutic laser machine.

They also encourage the use of minimally invasive procedures like otoendoscopyfor diagnosis and treatment of ear disease, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroendoscopy and colonoscopy, lap assisted spays, biopsies, enterotomy, cystotomy and ovariectomy.
