ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Full Time 8-week contract opportunity.

As a Sales Associate at Saint and Sofia, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our luxury retail environment. You will represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, assisting clients in finding the perfect products to suit their individual tastes and preferences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
  • Provide personalised product recommendations and styling advice based on the customer's style, occasion, and budget.
  • Build rapport with customers to establish long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling to maximise each customer interaction.
  • Stay informed about current promotions, new arrivals, and product features to effectively communicate benefits and drive sales.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
  1. Product Knowledge and Merchandising:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, including materials, construction, and care instructions.
  • Assist with merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining visual aesthetics to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management to ensure products are readily available for customers.
  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Provide attentive and proactive assistance to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Handle returns and exchanges with professionalism and adherence to store policies.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage feedback.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective sales goals and maintain a cohesive team environment.
  • Support fellow associates during peak periods or special events to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive work culture by embracing teamwork, open communication, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a luxury fashion environment.
  • Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style trends and designer brands.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
