Job Description

In this key role you will join our product development team and management team support the development of our next generation of Fluid System Electronic Controllers.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Lead, in the role you will work collaboratively with our mechanical engineering team to provide innovative, effective and fit for purpose solutions to our global customer base.

In the role you will be responsible to fulfil requirements of the development life cycle from research and concept through to final manufacture, lead design reviews to ensure that Rotork design and solutions comply with specification and relevant standards and develop and execute functional and non-functional test specifications to ensure compliance to requirements.

The role would suite an individual who is proactive, hands on and driven to ensure the delivery of all activities in line with agreed timelines, making strong decisions under pressure.

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Firmware Engineering or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with control system design
  • Experience in embedded C programming
  • Has experience of working with closed loop feedback systems

The successful candidate:
  • Will motivate, influence and direct technical professionals
  • Have a track record of successful delivery of medium to large projects
  • Able to balance the short-term focus on results with longer-term interests
  • Is adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, managing issues effectively
