Technical Assessor in Advanced Rail Engineering

Are you passionate about guiding apprentices towards success in their careers? This role is working for a national training provider, they are seeking a skilled Technical Assessor to lead apprentices through their L4 Advanced Rail Engineering program. You will need to have infrastructure experience within Railways for this role.

Purpose of Role:

Monitor KPI data to guide apprentices and line managers
Provide support in ED&I, H&S, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values
Prepare apprentices for EPA with structured review and guidance

Top Tasks:

Act as a point of contact for apprentices, customers, and employers
Mentor and coach individuals for personal and educational growth
Support apprentice transition from training to workplace
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment policies

Key Behavioural Competencies:

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for providing excellent customer service
Self-motivated with the ability to influence others
Innovative and flexible approach to work

Qualifications:

Assessor qualification or willingness to obtain
L4 Rail Engineering qualification or significant relevant experience
