Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Your RoleThe Enterprise Architecture Lead is responsible for defining the Enterprise Architecture strategy, roadmap, and principles to effectively steer and direct Business and IS teams towards realising improved business performance enabled by an underlying fit-for-purpose architecture. They support the establishment of architectural governance processes and forums, reviewing and moderating technical designs against broader Enterprise Architecture objectives, principles, and standards. They supervise the execution of the architectural roadmap, supporting the design of enterprise-scale solutions in partnership with the wider Business, IS and architectural community. The Enterprise Architect Lead reports into the Head of Transformation Office & Strategic Portfolio Management. 
You will own, define and manage the Enterprise Architecture strategy, and roadmap to realise a fit-for-purpose target state architecture, providing necessary steer and direction to Product and Platform teams.
Owns the definition of clear Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and guardrails that will shape and inform the organisation’s technical direction.Partners with Business leaders to translate their strategic needs into a clear target state Enterprise Architecture and roadmap, ensuring its alignment with broader Portfolio commitments and timelines. Advises Business leaders, IS leaders, and delivery teams on major architectural challenges. Supervises the execution of the strategic architectural roadmap, incrementing plans based on changing Business / IS Portfolio priorities.  Leads/ chairs Enterprise Architecture governance forums, reviewing large and/or impactful technology solutions, moderating proposed architectural solutions and providing dispensations to Enterprise architecture standards and guardrails, where required. Line Manages a team of Enterprise Architect, Lead Solution Architects, and Data/Integration Architects in Product and Platform teams, ensuring alignment on strategy, architecture principles, ensuring adherence to standards, and governing technology design decisions.  Provides assurance over conceptual, logical, and technical architecture specifications, ensuring their alignment to the wider target state Enterprise Architecture. 
Leads the effort working with Business and IS communities to create a standard architectural lexicon, aligning Vacuum Technique on common definitions for key Business capabilities and architectural components. Oversees the selection and definition of a repository of reusable architectural templates (e.g, reference architectures, design patterns, documentation templates) to expedite future design activities and support greater solution reuse. Drives application rationalisation and technology debt reduction initiatives, in collaboration with the wider IS architecture community and Head of Transformation Office & Strategic Portfolio Management.To succeed you will need:Demonstrable experience in designing feasible Enterprise Architecture target states and architectural roadmaps, which are aligned to strategic Business objectives and IS Portfolio commitments. Proven experience in establishing and facilitating Enterprise Architecture governance processes (e.g., Technical Design Authority).Deep experience across key architectural domains (e.g., application architecture, infrastructure architecture, data architecture) and how they intersect to create robust Enterprise Architecture solutions.Strong understanding of key manufacturing and commercial technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce, MES, PLM,  Order Management, Warehouse Management) and their application within an Industrial Manufacturing context. Experience in relevant Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX) and in establishing Enterprise Architecture principles and standards.Experience compiling and maintaining a repository of reusable Enterprise Architecture assets (e.g., reference architectures, design patterns, documentation templates). n Experience in assuring architectural designs at both a solution and enterprise-level. n Certified in TOGAF, Zachman, or other relevant Enterprise / Solution Architecture qualifications preferred.Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice
