An incredibly exciting start-up looking to help the UK achieve their Net Zero target are hiring for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team. You can be based in Bristol (preferred) or London and will only need to be in the office 1-day p/week + 1-day per month in the opposing office (travel paid for).

You will be working on an MVP product as part of a small, talented team (3 other engineers) across TypeScript, React and Python. The majority of the work is Frontend focused and commercial experience with Python isn't required as long as you have experience working full stack with another modern language (Node, Go, etc.).

Required experience:

  • You’ll have at least 3 years development experience
  • React and Typescript
  • Python is ideal, otherwise a willingness to learn and experience with Node, Go etc. is good too
  • Relational database design and SQL
  • REST APIs
  • Product-minded, Impact focused, Team-oriented
  • Start-up experience (company is currently only 6 people)
