What you’ll do

As a Full Stack Developer in one of our two web development teams, you will be a key player in driving continuous innovation into our web portal using C# and Angular (v16). You will be joining a dynamic team consisting of 4 Developers, 3 QA Engineers, and a Development Lead. Here’s what you can expect to do:

  • You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical capability, creativity, and ability to deliver robust solutions.
  • As part of an Agile development team, you will be involved in refinement and planning sessions, providing input into the direction of the product both functionally and technically.
  • You will be responsible for full stack software development, iteratively enhancing and improving our web portals and API offerings.
  • You will work collaboratively with Developers, QA Engineer’s, and Product Owners to deliver quality software increments.
  • You will conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are adhered to, and build a great working knowledge of the entire product suite.

Who you are

  • You have over 2 years of commercial experience in a Full Stack role, utilising C# and Angular.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are capable of translating use cases, user stories, and specifications into functional applications.
  • You have experience working in Agile teams and are familiar with lifecycle management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • You have some experience with Unit testing (e.g., MSTest, NUnit), knowledge of source control (ideally Git), and exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • You have experience with cloud technologies, ideally Azure, but this is not essential.

Desirable

  • You have exposure to working with web apps secured with OAUTH 2.
  • You have exposure to working with Dataverse as a data source.
  • You have knowledge or experience with microservices and queuing.

Location

At Mercury, we believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration. That’s why we encourage our team members to join us at our Coleshill office 1 day per week – every Tuesday. However, we’re all about flexibility, so we support remote work the remaining days if that’s your preference.
