Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Employment Associate to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including contracts, discrimination, dismissal, and employee relations. With a focus on providing strategic advice and innovative solutions, the Employment Associate will work closely with partners and clients to achieve their objectives and navigate complex employment issues.




Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, discrimination, dismissal, and employee relations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in understanding and complying with employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and tribunal submissions.
  • Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
  • Advise clients on HR best practices, including employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and redundancies.
  • Keep abreast of developments in employment law and provide insights to clients on potential implications for their businesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.




Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience in employment law.
  • Strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK employment law principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercial advice.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
