Test Engineer
The Company
An leading engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery.
The Role
This is a position that will require a flexible engineer. Ivolved primarily in the testing of control panels and proprietary equipment.
The work will include the following:
Moving large control panels and equipment into test area.
Installing PLCs and HMIs
Reading wiring diagrams.
Modifying wiring and electrical equipment.
Liaising with other departments to ensure equipment is ready before commencing tests.
Testing LV Switchgear
Installing temporary power and data cables.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must
1. NVQ Level 3 - Electrical Installation or similar/equivalent.
2. Functional Safety experience/knowledge would be an advantage.
3. Computer literacy is a must, with Microsoft Word and Excel
proficiency.
4. Must have good attention to detail, with strong problem solving,
communication and time management skills.
