About the company


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FS reg lawyer to join our client’s legal team. They are a well-known automotive brand with HQ in Basingstoke and offices in London.


About the role

  • Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of commercial matters.
  • Advise on financial regulatory matters, including consumer credit, insurance, AML, and investment products.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures for financial services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that could affect the business.
  • Provide training and guidance to other departments on legal and compliance matters.


Who are you?


  • England & Wales Qualified Solicitor
  • 3-5 PQE with experience in FS reg or at a FinTech
  • Understanding of commercial and contract law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels
