We are working alongside our client in the Food Ingredients sector based in the UK (Wales) to hire an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.

The client
Our client are a global leader in Specialty Food Ingredients manufacturing and producing Collagen and Gelatine supplying heavily into the Health Nutrition, Pharma and Food markets.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and coordinate all safety activities in order to provide optimal operating conditions for the site and to make sure the site stays operational.
- Responsible for and advising on safety related issues, in order to provide optimal operating conditions for the site and to make sure the site operates in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
- You will be required to support all areas of the business regarding environmental regulations and ensuring a safety-first culture, and provide training where necessary.
- Responsible for assessing and advising on Health & Safety legislation and guidance that my affect the operation of the business.
- Responsible for setting up a safety strategy and methods to improve the safety process to reduce job related risks for all employees and third parties at the site.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Possess technical and hands on Environmental, Health and Safety Manager with 5-7+ years worth of EHS experience.
- Track record of delivering Environmental and H&S improvements within a similar environment
- Experience in a manufacturing facility/ environment is a must
- Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001)
- Possess Health and Safety Management certification.
Salary: £58,000 + bonus
