Glasgow/West Scotland

Job Details:

  • Role: Fire Alarm Service & Commissioning Engineer
  • Sector: Service work with Utilities and Government contractors
  • Systems: Primarily working on Gent fire alarms with Siemens
  • Salary: Up to £39,000 basic per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of fire alarm systems.
  • Commissioning standalone and multi-panel fire alarm networks for utilities and government clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Gent fire alarms is essential.
  • Siemens experience is highly advantageous however full training will be provided directly with the manufacturer.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license for travel to various sites.
