Calling all aspiring IT Technicians Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a leading IT consultancy for their next IT enthusiast to join their growing team


Experienced with over 50 years of IT industry knowledge, The client not only offers its customers the highest quality of service but also its staff. As an Apprentice, you will be working side by side with your mentor that is passionate to develop your skills and mold you into the businesss next IT Expert. They have a wealth of experience with kick-starting apprentices' careers in the past, knowing exactly what it take to support and guide you throughout your programme.


Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will have a wide range of exciting duties that will ensure you are learning new skills that will allow you to keep updated with forever-changing technology. These duties will include the opportunity to working on the IT helpdesk on issues with Microsoft PC's, Apple Products, Microsoft 365, software issues and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • To deliver high quality support services to users of all levels and abilities on a variety of IT issues including Microsoft Windows PCs, Apple products, Microsoft 365, Cyber security mobile devices and associated software.
  • Answering all calls that come into the support phone line and creating tickets based on these and acquiring information from clients to pass this on or teach and complete these yourself.
  • Installation of 3rd party software.
  • Basic administration on 3rd party accounts like password resets and setting policies.
  • Escalations of any issues coming through on the ticketing system.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.


Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary - £15,000
  • Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
  • 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
  • Additional Holiday per year of service Maximum 5 days

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Customer Service Skills
  • Comfortable talking on the phone to customers
  • Interest in IT/ IT Hobbyist
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English GCSE

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
