Our client is an international transport company, specialising in the movement of temperature-controlled produce and dry freight throughout the UK & France.

You will work 4 nights out per week, Monday to Friday, sometimes running out Sunday PM or returning Saturday AM.

UK work is predominantly day work – Tuesday to Saturday with the occasional night out.

Please note – you must be aged over 25 for insurance purposes.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Ideally located within 30 miles of Billinghay, Lincolnshire
  • You will hold a full LGV C + E (Class 1) licence
  • To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) Driver CPC
  • To own a valid Tachograph card
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be punctual and trustworthy
  • Have the right to work in the UK

What will your role look like?

  • Following delivery schedules and routes
  • Supervising or helping to load and unload goods
  • Making sure the loads are safely secured
  • Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary
  • Completing delivery paperwork and log books
  • Thorough vehicle checking before each journey
  • You may also deal with basic maintenance, such as oil and water top ups, changing light bulbs before and after journeys
