As an apprentice you will be tasked with setting up new users for clients, configuring new users, ensuring they comply with the clients specific requirements, building client desktops and laptops and much more. You will be fully immersed in the world of IT and given all the tools to begin a career in the industry. Throughout your apprenticeship you will be closely supported by the Professional Services Team Leaders as well as a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Investigating a problem with a users email and potentially rebuilding their Outlook or Windows Profile
• Setting up new users for clients
• Building client desktops and laptops to specification either from prebuilt images or following set up guides
• Configuring new users, ensuring they comply with the clients specific requirements
• Going to site with a colleague to provide an extra pair of hands on a server installation, or migrate a number of machines to Azure AD

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

• £13,650 per annum
• Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
• 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Passion for IT
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• A good attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills
• Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths
