Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Expertise in managing JCT and NEC contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance profit margins and secure optimal rates on purchases

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantity surveying tasks, including cost estimation, control, and forecasting
  • Source materials, equipment, and services at competitive rates while maintaining quality standards
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget constraints
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement and supply chain management
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
  • Travel to project sites as required
