Medly AI is an innovative EdTech startup revolutionising personalised learning through AI. Our platform serves as an AI personal tutor, examiner, and classroom assistant, adapting to each student's unique learning style and needs. We're on a mission to democratise education and level the playing field for students worldwide.

What the job involves

  • Play a defining role in building and ensuring the quality of our products as a core member of Medly's engineering team
  • Work directly with founders in a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment
  • Define the design and creation of scalable software
  • Design and develop end-to-end solutions
  • Write clean, documented, and functional code
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
  • Write technical documentation
  • Advocate for end-to-end development best practices (e.g., coding, testing, deployment, maintenance)

Who you are

  • Proven experience as a full-stack developer, ideally working on B2C products
  • Excited about in-office culture, meeting with the team at least 3 days a week in person
  • Proficient in various tools, open-source technologies, and common stacks
  • Knowledgeable about industry best practices and tools
  • Experienced in developing web-based applications
  • Skilled in Medly AI's tech stack: Next.js, React Native, AWS, Python
  • Experienced with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiar with cloud providers and Infrastructure as Code
  • Have worked at a large tech company or high-growth startup
