Job requirements

We are looking for an experienced pension professional ideally from a DB background to work with our team of 25 colleagues on pension data rectification projects. The successful candidate will have track-record in Pension Administration/Data management/Cleanse and rectification projects, have strong pensions technical knowledge and experience.

This role is a hybrid position where you will work from any of our Aptia offices, as well as from your home address.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse and interpret scheme rules and actuarial instructions and work with senior colleagues in producing calculation specifications (including Benefit Spec if appropriate) as well as producing test matrices and test cases
  • Undertake all aspects of the data cleanse and rectification process including data analysis, data cleanse, data reconciliation and issue resolution as well as the co-ordination of member data exercises
  • Prepare data for member address trace projects, liaising with provider, interpreting and communicating results
  • Provide accurate and timely cost estimates for Project work where requested
  • Perform basic analysis with guidance and instruction
  • Participate in client project activities
  • Assist in drafting client material with guidance and instruction
  • Provide feedback on proposed improvements
  • Learn Aptia standard tools, processes and methodologies
  • Develop networks across peer group
  • Manage personal workload and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate project activities with guidance and instruction

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within the Pensions Industry ideally within DB
  • Ideally data management experience from a rectification/correction background
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge/experience ideally
  • Ability to take responsibility for the quality of your own work, using your initiative to achieve the required results
  • Experience and proficiency in working effectively in a team
  • Ability to prioritise work on multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
  • Proven track record of delivery to agreed quality and timescales or other relevant experience
  • Data management experience
